Recently, GigaOM posted an article titled Steve Jobs vowed to “destroy†Android. The post has disclosed a quoted about Steve Jobs that he is willing to Destroy Android since android is a stolen product.
According to an early copy of the biography obtained from “Associated Press”:
Isaacson wrote that Jobs was livid in January 2010 when HTC introduced an Android phone that boasted many of the popular features of the iPhone. Apple sued, and Jobs told Isaacson in an expletive-laced rant that Google’s actions amounted to “grand theft.â€
“I will spend my last dying breath if I need to, and I will spend every penny of Apple’s $40 billion in the bank, to right this wrong,†Jobs said. “I’m going to destroy Android, because it’s a stolen product. I’m willing to go thermonuclear war on this.â€
And, Steve also Said:
â€I don’t want your money. If you offer me $5 billion, I won’t want it. I’ve got plenty of money. I want you to stop using our ideas in Android, that’s all I want.â€
Do you believe that Google has stolen the ideas from Steve. Their is no doubt that Steve was an extraordinary person, and has changed our life forever. However, I believe that the Biography will broke selling records and disclose some secrets.
On the other hand It may be harm reputation of Google. In my earlier post I have shared How Google has adopted (!) ideas from an open source project Diaspora. Their are some major similarity in Google Plus and Diaspora. Google is also known for its “Acquiring Nature” most of the Google products are result of some fantastic acquisition.
Steve was one of the most polite and dedicated corporate person. I think most of us will be unable to ignore his biography.
