Sorry, But this topic is not about technology, If you are expecting for! This is about Google approach towards humanity.
As a company Google is always been a good company and people loves Google because of its policy. Google is the search engine giant and who works for human. Whereas other companies(most) companies do not participate in social disasters. Google makes them sense.
Google is most social company and I think they really try to maintain their goodness. Their is a worst experience for Japan and also for the whole world. The earthquake and The Tsunami changes the life of hundreds of thousand people of Japan. 1000 has been already dead and 10000 are missing (According to the news coming from Japan).
In this worst condition Google has taken a number of steps and trying to offer more and more services to the affected persons. We should welcome Google for that. In my previous post about Google doodle I have made a comment “the Google is the only company who plays with its logo.” This is true, but their may be a powerful reason. Nothing is important than Humanism.
We all are human and all the virtual world makes our life convenient. So we should make our life happy and keep our plan healthy.
Google has launched some services like “Google Person Finder” http://japan.person-finder.appspot.com/?lang=en
width=600 height=400 frameborder=0<br /> style=”border: dashed 2px #77c”>
I think Google is the company who always takes first steps and deploy their resources to help people. As we have seen in recent past either Japan or Egypt. We should Welcome them and such companies also. We should also think on the climate change and other things.
Google Crisis Response:
Google has added a page to http://www.google.com/crisisresponse/japanquake2011.html. If you want to know about crisis, you may go to the above link. This page is containing Donation link ( Donation goes Japanese Red Cross Society), Live Video, text news feed and runtime update. This page also contains Person Finder and lot more.
On other hand I am still searching for some other companies who are involved in such social work. But do not find any till now. 🙁
This is the reason why I love Google personally.
