IRCTC: Changes in Tatkal ticket charges and Cancellation fees

IRCTC has made changes in Tatkal tickets charges and Cancellation fees. These changes are already affected from April 1st 2013. Earlier from March 13th the  fares has been revised. This time we have spent some more money passively.

“Now the Tatkal charges will be realized @10% of the basic fare for reserved Second (2S) class and 30% of the basic fare for all other classes subject to minimum and maximum as given below”

These charges are applicable from the journey starts from 1st April, 2013.

There is some changes in Cancellation charges for both Unreserved/Waitlisted and Reserved tickets.  These changes are also valid for IRCTC tickets (if they apply).
