It could be the worst gift to BSNL on Diwali by anyone. Some hackers claims to be Pakistani have hacked the BSNL site and written:
so just here to warn you, that you have been pwnd by Pakistani hacker This is not a joke or dream, this is fucking reality, kids.
This is now just a warning !!
They said that they have every database and deleted the same from BSNL server. There is a screenshot of the page http://www.bsnl.co.in/tender1/
The hacker has also published an article on wetpaint.com which is for educational purpose (?) and published the screenshots how he hacked the server. What ever it is, but it shows that our server security is loose and government should be more serious about it.
It also interesting the hacker has exposed himself and the his google+ account is https://plus.google.com/117748650392334552365/posts. In a link the photo of the hacker is available.
For security purpose, Do not login to your BSNL accounts or any page which ask passwords. Sharing any personal information may be captured by the hacker. Lets wait for the official statement about the hacking and who is the next target of Pakistani Cyber Army (PCA)!
Update:
- The page has been removed now and getting 404 error. Database still to recover. (12.36 IST)
- It looks like they have recovered Database and the site is running normal. (November 1, 2011)
