And now, BSNL launches Aakash tablet’s rival called T-Pad IS701R. Look wise and feature wise T-Pad IS701R is much better than Ubislate or Ubislate+. Aakash Tab has Android 2.2 and this tab has Android 2.3 with 1 GHz  processor and DDR2 256MB ram. The HDMI port enables you to connect the device with LCD or LED tv. It also have preloaded android market, whereas this feature is also not available on Aakash tab.

The inbuilt memory of this BSNL Aakash Tab rival is also 2GB which can be extended upto 32GB using memory card. The screen is 7 inches TFT of 800*600px and standard 16:9 ratio.

Where Aakash Tab do not have any camera. It has 0.3px front side camera, possibly for video chat. The new BSNL Aakash tab rival supports all standard video and audio.

The Launch Offer:
As a special scheme BSNL will provide 3 Months of data download free. The new T-PAd IS701R will come with BSNL 2G sim. However it has not been disclosed how much free data usages will be allowed and if a user can make voice calls.

The price of this tab is Rs. 3,499, You may book here. Where as Aakash is priced at Rs. 2500 and Ubislate+ is priced at Rs. 2999.

 Two other models:

BSNL and Pantel (a Noida based company) has also launched two more models which are priced at Rs.10,999 and Rs.13,999. But I have doubt that anybody will be interested to buy a costlier tab of an unknown brand. However, Product and marketing makes brand so we should wait and watch how tablet market changes.
